Designed for a transitional neighborhood, the unusual program for this project includes a wood working shop and storage for the client’s 32-foot boat. A simple but generous two-bedroom rental apartment with an expansive wood deck sits atop the garage. At the ground floor, the shop and boat garage are naturally ventilated by an industrial fan that draws air through the garage’s slatted wall to provide comfort during the warm months of the year.
